Experience the complete beauty of Spiti Valley with a scenic journey through Kinnaur, remote Himalayan villages, ancient monasteries, high-altitude landscapes and the beautiful Chandratal Lake.
Day 1 – Shimla to Sarahan
Begin your Spiti Full Circuit journey from Shimla and drive towards Sarahan through the beautiful Himalayan landscape. Enjoy scenic mountain roads, green valleys, apple orchards and traditional villages along the way. On arrival in Sarahan, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, visit the famous Bhimakali Temple and explore the peaceful surroundings.
Overnight Stay: SarahanDay 2 – Sarahan to Sangla / Chitkul
After breakfast, continue your journey towards the beautiful Sangla Valley. Drive through the scenic Kinnaur region, surrounded by mountains, forests and the Baspa River. Explore the peaceful surroundings of Sangla and, depending on time and road conditions, visit Chitkul, a beautiful Himalayan village known for its remote location and natural surroundings.
Overnight Stay: Sangla / ChitkulDay 3 – Sangla to Kalpa
After breakfast, leave Sangla and drive towards Kalpa. Enjoy a scenic journey through the Kinnaur Valley with beautiful mountain views and traditional Himalayan villages. On reaching Kalpa, explore the local surroundings and experience the peaceful atmosphere of this charming mountain destination. You can also visit nearby temples and traditional village areas.
Overnight Stay: KalpaDay 4 – Kalpa to Kaza
Today, begin your exciting journey towards Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley. As you travel deeper into the valley, the landscape changes from green mountain valleys to the dramatic barren mountains of the cold desert. Enjoy the scenic route, remote villages and spectacular Himalayan surroundings before reaching Kaza.
Overnight Stay: KazaDay 5 – Kaza Local Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring the famous attractions around Kaza. Visit Key Monastery, one of the most prominent monasteries in the Spiti Valley, and continue towards Kibber and nearby villages. Enjoy the unique architecture, traditional houses, dramatic landscapes and peaceful Himalayan atmosphere.
Overnight Stay: KazaDay 6 – Langza – Hikkim – Komic
Today, explore some of the most fascinating high-altitude villages of Spiti Valley. Visit Langza, famous for its giant Buddha statue and beautiful mountain surroundings. Continue to Hikkim, known for its high-altitude post office, and then visit Komic, one of the highest villages in the region. After exploring these remote villages, return to Kaza.
Overnight Stay: KazaDay 7 – Kaza to Chandratal Lake
After breakfast, begin your journey towards the spectacular Chandratal Lake. Travel through the rugged landscapes of Spiti and cross the scenic Kunzum Pass, subject to road and weather conditions. Continue towards Chandratal and enjoy the breathtaking high-altitude surroundings. Spend the evening relaxing near the beautiful lake and enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
Overnight Stay: Chandratal / CampsDay 8 – Chandratal to Manali & Departure
Wake up to beautiful mountain views and begin your final journey towards Manali. Drive through the scenic Lahaul Valley and continue towards Manali, depending on road and weather conditions. On reaching Manali, your memorable Spiti Full Circuit journey comes to an end.
